Game 2 of the NBA Finals goes tonight on TSN. Patrick Willis Camo Jersey
. Make sure to join us for our pre-game show beginning at 8pm et/5pm
pt. Here are a few quick thoughts as we head into tonights contest.
1. NICK COLLISON (OKC): I said on Tuesday that I thought he could be a
positive factor for the Thunder. He played excellent in Game 1 (8 points
and 10 rebounds). He allows Scott Brooks to go small and play him at
the five-spot and match Chris Bosh and play Kevin Durant at the
four-spot. Hes a mobile/active defender whos excellent at taking
charges, guarding the pick and roll and getting you defections. Hes a
terrific offensive rebounder and is perfectly happy setting screens and
being the fifth option on the floor. Understands team basketball and
knows/accepts his role - Winning Player.
2. DWYANE WADE (Heat): Wade has shot below 50 percent in the last six
games. Unusual for him, to say the least, and a concern. Doesnt look
right to me. Not seeing the same burst/expressiveness in his game.
Normally he has lots more pop/energy to his on-court persona. Hurting?
Who knows how bad but the bottom line is that they need to get him
going and he needs to create/force the action and put pressure on the
OKC defenders and drive it hard at them and get to the rim and
free-throw line.
3. RUSSELL WESTBROOK (OKC): Remember last year when JJ Barea torched the
Heat in the Finals as well as the Lakers in the West Finals? Westbrook
gave the Heat those same fits with the dribble penetration in Game 1.
Somehow/someway the Heat have to do a better job of containing him;
change shots at the rim and take charges in the lane when you deal with
him. He had some straight line drives and thats a no-no at this stage of
the season. Give him a bit of cushion and continue to make him beat
you with his jumper - which is improved. His penetration will destroy
the Heat because it gets their defensive rotations out of whack and hes
then able to get others even better shots.
4. LE BRON JAMES (Heat): In the last two games since his awesome Game 6
performance vs. the Celtics, hes shot 4-24 on shots outside of 10 feet.
Im sure hes had this pointed out to him. Hes got to be much more
assertive with his post ups, get on the offensive glass, get to the
free-throw line and overall put the pressure on the referees to adapt to
his physical play. It would be nice if Wade and Bosh played to their
capabilities as well. It opens up opportunities for him with greater
space to work with.
5. SCOTT BROOKS (OKC): He won the Game 1 chess match. As the game
progressed, his team figured out the double-teams on the screen/roll and
the switching defenses that Miami was utilizing. He went with a smaller
lineup late with Ibaka and Perkins watching and making Miami match him.
Considering that James Harden had a quiet night, hes got to feel good
about his perimeter corp. This series is far from over in any way,
shape or form. Lots of tactical adjustments to be made by each coach
but I give him high marks for remaining calm and making the subtle moves
to allow his team to settle down and get into the tempo/rhythm that
theyre best suited to play at.

The 2005 Paris champion won five straight games in the first set to
rally from a 3-1 deficit, hitting 12 winners to only three for Verdasco.
Berdych then broke the Spaniard twice for a 5-2 lead in the second set
but wasted four match points to let Verdasco level at 5-5. Joe Montana Jersey

A dominant effort did the trick.
Iguodala scored 23 points, Kenneth Faried had his eighth double-double
of the season and the Denver Nuggets beat the struggling New Orleans
Hornets 102-84 on Sunday night. http://www.sf49ersfootballstore.com/authentic-colin-kaepernick-super-bowl-jersey/ . -- These days, Carey Price is more likely to deliver a quick one-liner than tired cliche. Mike Iupati Jersey

The game did get close, and unlike last Mondays meltdown, this time the
Nets handled it.
Brook Lopez scored 20 points, Kris Humphries added 14 points and 21
rebounds, and the Nets beat the Orlando Magic 82-74 on Sunday to
complete a home-and-home sweep.ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- Bernhard Langer topped
the leaderboard at 7 under when first-round play in the Dicks Sporting
Goods Open was suspended because of rain Friday.
Coming off a victory two weeks ago in the 3M Championship in Blaine,
Minn., Langer was facing an 8-foot birdie putt on the 16th hole when
play was stopped at En-Joie Golf Course.
"I played pretty solid. I drove the ball very well. I hit a lot of
fairways to give myself opportunities with my iron shots," said Langer,
who closed with a 62 in his victory in Minnesota. "Im disappointed we
had to stop because I was going well, feeling good, but hopefully well
continue tomorrow."
After 1.7 inches of rain fell Tuesday night, the course couldnt hold
much more water Friday before it became unplayable. Gene Smith,
assistant tournament director for the Champions Tour, said it wouldve
taken at least an hour for the course to become playable again once the
rain stopped.
"We have several fairways out there that are totally under water. If a
player was trying to take relief from casual water, he would probably
have to go about 40 yards from where the ball is on the fairway," Smith
said. Colin Kaepernick Super Bowl Jersey.
"Were not going to play that way."
Defending champion John Huston, Willie Wood and Chien Soon Lu were 5
under. Willie Wood, one of only 12 players to complete the round, shot a
67. Huston had three holes left, and Lu had nine to go.
Langer said hes going to have to wake up at about 4:30 a.m. to get to
the range at ahead of the 7:30 a.m. start. While he doesnt have many
holes to go before he finishes his first round, hell have plenty of
waiting around to do before the start of his second round.
"Therell be a lot of hanging around, preparing, warming up twice,"
Langer said. "Its just going to make a long day, thats all."
Tournament director John Karedes said the course drains well because the
fairways are either sand- or gravel-based. New drainage also was
installed after En-Joie had major flooding because of Tropical Storm Lee
last September. But this weeks rain was too much for it to handle.
"Just when that amount of rainfall that happens so fast," Karedes said,
"no amount of drainage is going to help on that."
