The disciples have been waiting for 'something' to happen, but they do not know what, and they are not sure when. We read of this in Acts Chapter 2, and this profound and powerful spiritual experience can still be experienced today. However, the onlookers respond differently, and react with bewilderment, excitement, and even ridicule, suggesting the disciples were drunk.
