When I heard about Obama's recent plan

As a single mom of two young children, my most envied lifestyle belongs to moms who are educating themselves for the future. Not only is it a juggling act, but the stress levels can only be incredulous.
I had never been fortunate enough when I left high school to carry on to college, because of family obligations. I have wanted to pursue higher education in order to better provide for my children in the future. However, my current financial situation has prevented me from doing this. I can't afford the daycare, for one, nor can I afford the tuitions.

cheap polo shirts BR>In the past I have looked into home study, which seemed to me a viable alternative, without the daycare costs, however, I still find myself in the unenviable position of not being able to afford the tuitions. Money is tight, food and shelter come first and going in to debt to reach my educational goal is not an option for me at this time in my life.
When I heard about Obama's recent plan to help moms go back to school through the aid of scholarships, I felt as though a brand new door to the future had opened for me.

I began to do my research about this program, not being sure if it would apply to home study, and found that I, and home study, totally qualify for the program. I can finally have the best of both worlds. I can stay home with my children while educating myself to provide a better future for them.
In these current economic times, I feel the timing is perfect for this program to come in to my life. I am now able to pursue higher education, with the hope that when it is completed the economy will have recovered and jobs in my field of choice will be plentiful. |
